Welcome to CRUX.
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the CRUX website at cruxlabstools.com and your purchase and use of digital products offered through the website.
By accessing the website, placing an order or purchasing a digital product, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy, Refund and Returns Policy and Digital Delivery Policy.
Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. About CRUX
CRUX provides digital knowledge products including toolkits, guides, templates, worksheets, checklists, prompt libraries and other downloadable resources.
Unless specifically stated otherwise on a product page, CRUX products are digital products only and no physical item will be shipped.
2. Product Information
We aim to describe each product as clearly and accurately as reasonably possible.
Product pages may include information such as:
- product description;
- intended users;
- contents and inclusions;
- sample or preview pages;
- file format;
- price; and
- delivery information.
Please review the relevant product page before purchasing.
Product previews may show only selected portions of a digital product and may not represent every page or element included in the complete product.
3. Prices
Prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency indicated at checkout.
The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed when you place the order, subject to correction of genuine technical or pricing errors.
Any applicable taxes or other charges will be shown where required.
CRUX may change product prices at any time. A later price change does not normally affect a purchase that has already been successfully completed.
4. Orders
Submitting an order does not by itself guarantee that the transaction has been successfully completed.
An order is normally treated as successfully purchased after:
- the payment has been successfully confirmed; and
- the order has been accepted by the CRUX ecommerce system.
If an order cannot be fulfilled because of a technical error, incorrect pricing, payment issue, suspected fraud or another legitimate reason, CRUX may cancel the order and provide an appropriate refund where payment has already been successfully collected.
5. Payments
Payments are processed through authorised third-party payment service providers such as Razorpay.
Available payment methods may include UPI, cards, net banking or other methods made available through the payment gateway.
Payment processing is also subject to the terms, security checks and operating procedures of the relevant bank, card network, UPI provider and payment service provider.
CRUX does not intend to collect or store your complete card, UPI PIN, OTP or other sensitive payment credentials on its own website systems.
Never share your OTP, PIN or banking password with CRUX support or any person claiming to represent CRUX.
6. Digital Delivery
After successful payment confirmation, access to the purchased digital product is provided according to our Digital Delivery Policy.
Depending on the purchase and system configuration, download access may be provided through:
- the Order Received / confirmation page;
- email;
- your customer account, where applicable; or
- another secure delivery method stated at the time of purchase.
Download limits, expiry periods and delivery troubleshooting are governed by the Digital Delivery Policy and the information shown for the relevant product.
7. Licence to Use CRUX Products
Purchasing a CRUX digital product does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property contained in that product.
Unless a product states otherwise, your purchase provides you with a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the product for your own lawful personal, educational or professional purposes.
You may use CRUX frameworks, worksheets, templates and guidance to help create your own original work.
Your purchase does not give you the right to commercially distribute or sell the CRUX product itself.
8. Prohibited Sharing and Redistribution
Unless CRUX expressly gives written permission, you must not:
- share the purchased file with other people;
- upload it to public or private file-sharing platforms for distribution;
- resell or sublicense it;
- redistribute copies through WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Drive, email, websites or similar channels;
- reproduce substantial portions for redistribution;
- publish the product online;
- sell modified copies of CRUX materials;
- remove or deliberately obscure ownership, licence or purchaser-identification information; or
- make the product available as part of another paid or free resource library.
This does not prevent normal lawful use of the concepts, frameworks or templates to create your own original academic or professional work.
9. Watermarks and Content-Protection Measures
CRUX may use reasonable measures to discourage unauthorised sharing of paid digital products.
These may include purchaser-specific information, watermarks, download controls or other technical or identifying measures.
Where such measures are used, they are intended to protect CRUX intellectual property and legitimate purchasers.
Purchaser-identifying information or watermarks must not be intentionally removed, altered or obscured for the purpose of unauthorised redistribution.
10. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the CRUX website and CRUX-created products, including their original text, layouts, frameworks, worksheets, graphics, templates, branding and other original materials, are owned by or licensed to the operator of CRUX and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
The CRUX name, branding and visual identity may not be used in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, partnership or affiliation.
Third-party names, trademarks or materials that may appear for educational, reference or illustrative purposes remain the property of their respective owners.
11. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds, duplicate payments, accidental purchases, failed delivery and other refund-related matters are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy.
Because CRUX sells downloadable digital products, successfully delivered products generally cannot be physically returned.
Nothing in these Terms removes any refund or other remedy that must be provided under applicable consumer law.
12. Educational and Informational Nature
CRUX products are designed to provide practical information, frameworks, examples, templates and educational resources.
They are not guarantees of any particular:
- academic result;
- grade or jury outcome;
- internship or admission;
- employment opportunity;
- professional success;
- business result; or
- financial outcome.
Results depend on many factors outside CRUX’s control, including how the user applies the material and the requirements of their institution, employer, client or other relevant organisation.
Users should independently verify requirements that may vary by university, institution, jurisdiction, employer, professional body or project.
13. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- reading the product description before purchasing;
- providing accurate information during checkout;
- providing a valid email address;
- maintaining access to your email and device;
- downloading and securely storing purchased files within the applicable access period;
- determining whether a product suits your specific needs; and
- using the product lawfully and appropriately.
Where CRUX provides templates, examples or suggested frameworks, you remain responsible for adapting them to your own circumstances.
14. Product Updates
CRUX may improve, correct or update its digital products from time to time.
A purchase gives you access to the version and benefits described at the time of purchase.
Future revisions, new editions or additional content are not automatically included unless the relevant product page specifically states that updates are included.
15. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website, checkout and digital-delivery systems available and functioning reliably.
However, temporary interruptions may occur because of:
- maintenance;
- hosting problems;
- internet outages;
- payment-provider issues;
- software updates;
- security incidents; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where such an issue affects a paid purchase, CRUX will take reasonable steps to restore access or provide another appropriate resolution.
16. External Services and Links
The CRUX website may use or link to third-party services such as payment processors, email providers, social platforms or external websites.
Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
CRUX is not responsible for the independent content or operation of third-party websites or services that are outside our control.
17. Suspension for Misuse
CRUX may restrict or terminate download access where there is reasonable evidence of:
- unauthorised redistribution;
- fraudulent purchasing activity;
- abuse of download access;
- attempted circumvention of content-protection measures; or
- another material violation of these Terms.
This provision will not be used to remove rights or remedies that a consumer is legally entitled to exercise.
18. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CRUX will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting solely from the user’s reliance on educational material, inability to achieve a particular academic or professional outcome, or misuse of the products.
Where CRUX is responsible for a defective, deficient, incorrectly supplied or undelivered product, the customer’s rights will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant CRUX policies.
19. Changes to These Terms
CRUX may update these Terms when necessary to reflect changes in:
- products;
- website functionality;
- payment or delivery systems;
- business practices; or
- applicable legal requirements.
The current version and its latest update date will be displayed on this page.
Changes will not be used to remove mandatory consumer rights relating to purchases already made.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any dispute will be subject to the courts, consumer commissions or other authorities having jurisdiction under applicable Indian law.
Nothing in this section restricts a consumer’s right to approach a competent consumer commission or other authority where such a right is provided by law.
21. Grievances and Support
For questions relating to:
- an order;
- payment;
- download access;
- refunds;
- product delivery; or
- these Terms,
please contact CRUX through the Contact Us page.
We aim to acknowledge consumer grievances within 48 hours of receipt and resolve them within one month, as required where applicable.
22. Other CRUX Policies
These Terms should be read together with:
- Privacy Policy
- Refund and Returns Policy
- Digital Delivery Policy
- Disclaimer
If a specific product page contains additional licence or usage terms, those product-specific terms also apply to that product.
23. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or override any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, or other applicable law.
24. Contact
For customer support, order assistance or questions about these Terms, please use the Contact Us page on CRUX.
